Good Bang for Your Buck?

Would I Go Back?

It’s always wonderful to find little local spots that are bursting with personality. DandE’s is one such place: the interior decor is filled with drawings and notes from visitors of all ages and fun little doodads and decorations. It’s even home to a few of those cute creepy Furbies from back in the day.

Homemade custard deserves a homemade menu. Can you find the little piggy?
Wall art + tons of fan art = fun wall reading.

This mom-and-pop establishment is essentially a little kitchen dedicated to making homemade frozen custard. For the lactose-intolerant avoiding the stinky effects of dairy, sorbet is also on offer. (This Gassy Squirrel had no compunctions about subjecting Alex to the effects of her lactose intolerance and scratched her sweets itch with a triple-flavored coconut, coffee, and oreo banana split.) The wide variety of flavors include the usual favorites as well as some local tastes like soursop and rum raisin.

Whether you’re looking for an escape from the heat or a way to satisfy that sweets craving, you’re guaranteed to have a tasty, fun, and friendly experience visiting this local gem.

Look for this storefront.
You, too, can contribute to the funky decor.
Eileen (the E in "DandE") delivers on the triple-hitter banana split.
