Belize – Day 8: New Year’s Eve :: Indiana Jones by Day and Dinner Party by Night
The ATM Tour gave us a chance to play adventurous explorer followed by a New Year’s Eve dinner party with a countdown from a different time zone.

The ATM Adventure :: Embrace Your Inner Badass in Belize’s Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave
This mini Indiana Jones/Lara Croft adventure will have you hiking, swimming, and scrambling to witness amazing Mayan artifacts.

Belize – Day 7: A Rural Jaunt, Nature Hike, and Caving Adventure
The Gassy Squirrel explores more of the Belizean Cayo countryside during a nature hike and caving adventure in the Five Blues Lake area.

Explore Crystal Cave in Belize :: An Entrance to Xibalba, The Maya Underworld
Great 2-in-1 nature hike + cave exploration tour. Crystal Cave is a great little brother alternative to the ATM cave tour. Discover artifacts and adventure without the crowds.

Cave Kayaking in Belize :: A Comedy of Errors But One of Our Most Fun Adventures
A great off-the-beaten-path cave kayaking adventure in the jungles of Belize. A lot of little things went wrong, but we still had one of the best adventures of our Belize trip. Video included.

Belize – Day 6: An Awesome Cave Kayaking Trip and a Fancy Dinner
Day 6 in Belize started with a great cave kayaking tour in the Cayo jungle and ended with a delicious dinner at an upscale restaurant in a posh resort.

Why I Wasn’t Thrilled About Cave Tubing at St. Herman’s Cave in Belize
Tubing may be a fun activity in the sunshine, but it’s a different experience in a cave where it’s pitch black. Admittedly not my favorite activity of the trip, sorry to say.

Belize – Day 5: Ziplining and Cave Tubing in the Jungle
Day 5 in Belize was the first of several days of adventure in the Cayo jungles. The day started with a great ziplining trip and ended with a less-than-stellar cave tubing tour, with a bit of muddy hiking thrown into the mix.

Flying over the Jungles of Belize :: Ziplining in the Cayo District
The safest zipline operation I’ve seen to date. Great equipment, great guides, and great lines. Add the Cayo jungle as your backdrop, and you’re set to fly over and through the trees!

Visit Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve in 1-2 Days :: Cayo, Belize
The Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve is over 100K acres of pine trees in an otherwise tropical country. If you have a day or two, it’s well worth visiting some of the hidden gems in the area: Caracol Mayan ruins, Big Rock Falls, Rio-On Pools, and Rio Frio Cave.

Tips on Visiting Caracol Mayan Temple in Belize
Some helpful tips to planning your day trip to Caracol, including information about that scary-sounding military escort.

Rio-On Pools :: Your Frolic Spot in Belize
A vast expanse of boulders and small waterfalls that form pools in which to wade and frolic. But there’s no coverage from the sun, so bring your sunscreen!
